Too many students are anxious or depressed, and every student struggles with issues that affect their mental health. Overburdened counselors and staff are stretching as far as they can, but it's impossible to meet the need. With Alongside, schools can provide 24/7, tier 1 mental health support for every student and save counselors time to focus on tier 2 and 3.

Using our app, students use a chatbot to talk to the llama and get personalized support developed by our team of clinicians. The llama makes it comfortable for students to open up about their specific challenges for 80+ issues. Students learn skills to solve their own problems and commit to concrete goals to take action in real life. The app is designed for middle and high school students, and the company works exclusively with schools

About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Demand Generation Manager to join our team at Alongside. As the Sr. Demand Generation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our company by developing and executing effective demand generation strategies and campaigns. Your expertise will be crucial in maximizing lead generation and conversion, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving improvements to help scale our business. This is a remote position and the company has employees based across the US.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement demand generation strategies and campaigns across multiple channels (e.g. email, webinars, conferences, social, partnerships).
  • Represent Alongside at industry events and conferences to generate leads, foster relationships, and promote the company's mission.
  • Collaborate with our marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment of efforts and drive revenue growth.
  • Measure, optimize, and enhance the performance of demand generation initiatives.
  • Identify and address challenges and conflicts within the demand generation process to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Monitor industry trends and stay updated on emerging technologies and techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Manage budget for demand generation activities and report on our successes using key metrics (e.g. leads, conversions, and revenue).

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in demand generation or related fields; experience in K-12 education a bonus!
  • Proficient with marketing automation and CRM software to execute demand generation campaigns effectively.
  • Expert of the customer journey, and is constantly focused on aligning company objectives to our customer’s needs.
  • Craves data and has a track record of using strong analytical skills to optimize campaign performance.
  • Thrives working on a small, entrepreneurial team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Loves juggling multiple tasks and projects, can prioritize effectively, and meets deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.


Compensation will be commensurate with other early stage startup companies and will include both salary and an equity component.
